What is Herbology
Herbology is traditionally one of the more important modalities utilized in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Each herbal medicine prescription is a mixture of many herbs tailored to the individual patient. The practitioner usually designs a remedy using one or two main ingredients that target the illness. Then the practitioner adds many other ingredients to adjust the formula to the patient’s yin/yang conditions. Balance is the key and health the goal.

What is Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practiced in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years. It is used to treat people with a wide range of problems, the main focus being improving overall well-being. It is often used to relieve stress-related health problems and research shows it can also be effective as a means of pain relief. By utilizing the body’s own energy, called qi (pronounced chee) in Chinese), acupuncture can restore the balance and flow that a healthy body, mind and spirit can have.
