STRESS RELIEF
Stress is not only in your head, its also in your body. Stress is defined as the body’s adaptation to change. Everyone knows intuitively what this feels like on a daily basis. When stress levels are high in a person’s life the body responds with higher levels of epinephrine. This adrenaline burst is great for short periods, but can damage the body over protracted periods. The initial benefits are quickly replaced by exhaustion, immune suppression, cardiac irregularity and other systemic problems.

Acupuncture and herbs work to balance the body’s response to stressors. By harmonizing the body’s energy flow and building up what has been weakened by the stess herbs and acupuncture allow a person to have a better physical and mental reaction to stressors in their life. When the body functions better, so does the mind. Often people’s response to the same stressors changes drastically. When health has been compromised by this stress this process of helping the body can help remove the health problems. Most importantly, people’s quality of life is drastically improved.
